Lifetime Limited Warranty.

1. Overview

Ben's Carpentry Ltd. stands behind the quality and craftsmanship of its custom-built stairs and railings. We proudly offer a Lifetime Limited Warranty to the original purchaser, guaranteeing that our products will remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the structure in which they were originally installed.

This warranty reflects our commitment to outstanding craftsmanship, sustainability, and long-lasting value.

2. What this warranty covers

This Lifetime Limited Warranty covers:

• Structural integrity of the stairs and railings manufactured and installed by Ben's Carpentry Ltd.
• Defects in materials supplied directly by Ben's Carpentry Ltd.
• Defects in workmanship related to the fabrication and installation of the product.

If a covered defect arises, Ben's Carpentry Ltd. will, at its discretion:

• Repair the affected component, or
• Replace the affected component with a comparable product.

3. What this warranty does not cover

This warranty does not cover the following:

Normal Wear & Tear

• Scratches, dents, scuffs, or finish deterioration caused by daily use.
• Fading or discolouration over time caused by sunlight, moisture, or environmental exposure.

Environmental & Structural Factors

• Damage from moisture, flooding, humidity, mould, or improper ventilation.
• Movement or settling of the building or framing.
• Damage caused by improper cleaning products (e.g., harsh chemicals, abrasives).

Misuse or Improper Care

• Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, or abuse.
• Alterations, modifications, or repairs performed by anyone other than Ben's Carpentry Ltd.
• Use of the product in a manner not intended by design.

Third-Party Materials or Installations

• Components not supplied or installed by Ben's Carpentry Ltd.
• Hardware, finishes, stains, or paints applied by others.

4. Conditions for warranty eligibility

To maintain warranty coverage, the following conditions must be met:

Original Owner Only

• The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Original Installation Site

• The product must remain installed at the original location.

Proper Maintenance

• The product must be cared for using recommended cleaning and maintenance practices.

Timely Notification

• Warranty claims must be reported to Ben's Carpentry Ltd. within 30 days of discovering the issue.

Proof of Purchase Required

• Original invoice or contract must be provided upon request.

Ben's Carpentry Ltd. will assess the issue and determine whether it falls under warranty coverage. Site visits may be required.

6. Limitations of liability

Ben's Carpentry Ltd. is not responsible for:

• Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages
• Costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or access to the product
• Damage caused by other contractors, trades, or renovation activities

The remedies described in this document constitute Ben's Carpentry Ltd.'s sole obligation and the customer's exclusive remedy.

7. Coverage for finish, stain or paints

Finish warranties are limited to 2 years from installation and cover peeling or adhesion failure under normal indoor conditions. They do not cover scratches, wear marks, water damage, or fading.

8. Acceptance of warranty terms

By purchasing products or services from Ben's Carpentry Ltd., the client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined in this Lifetime Limited Warranty.
